VACANCIES FOR BANKING AND CORPORATE FINANCE TRAINERS

Redcliffe wishes to expand its current base of trainers. We would like to hear from freelance trainers who can teach topics within the banking and corporate finance arenas. These include – but are not limited to – mergers and acquisitions, debt finance, private equity, real estate finance, commercial banking subjects and associated legal and regulatory topics. Recent practical experience in corporate finance – with an investment bank, firm of stockbrokers, corporate finance advisory house or law firm would be a major advantage.

Client Services Assistant

Redcliffe Training Associates Limited is a highly regarded finance training and conference provider with a blue chip client list. Due to its on-going success the entry level position of Client Services Assistant has become available.

The successful candidate will be working in very busy office environment with a hard working team of ten each focussed on meeting deadlines and demands.

The successful candidate will work for a great company which encourages ideas and where everyone feels part of a successful team. They will be actively encouraged to make the role their own by being enterprising, hardworking and client centred.

The position requires the candidate to be extremely well organised, intelligent, possess a high level of diligence and accuracy and the ability to think for themselves.

The candidate will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing but will also be working closely with our Client Services & Administration Manager.

Full and on-going support will be provided but the candidate will be expected to display desire and enthusiasm and use their own initiative.

Administration

  • Sending course and conference joining instructions
    • Send pre-course reading / work to participants
  • Processing cancellations / transfers
  • Liaising with trainers by telephone and email
  • Liaising with participants regarding payments
  • Dealing with suppliers by telephone and email
  • Assisting on the day of a conference
    • Assisting with the registration of participants
    • Assisting with the smooth running of the event
  • Assisting on the day of a training course
    • Meeting and greeting participants
    • Ensuring that training rooms are set-up
    • Problem solving
  • Answering incoming calls (dealing with queries, transferring and advising)
  • Going to the bank to pay in cheques
  • Assisting with preparing and organising in-house courses and other projects
  • Create Certificate of Attendance for clients
  • Creating and building training materials for courses
  • Ensuring that all course assessment forms filed accurately and updated on our website

Other duties

  • Assisting with the marketing of Redcliffe training courses and conferences
    • Initiating e-shots to contacts on databases
    • Verifying all bounces from e-shots and updating contact details on our databases
    • Processing bookings for courses and conferences from e-shots
  • Managing client databases
    • Researching websites, articles and publications and adding appropriate contacts to our databases
    • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records on our databases
    • The on-going visiting of client websites to obtain new contacts to add to our databases
    • Telephoning companies / contacts to verify contact data on our databases
  • Managing  / Updating websites
    • Maintaining the accuracy of the company’s website
    • Maintaining the accuracy of websites that our services are advertised
    • Updating websites with course and conference details
  • Updating our presence on Social Media
  • Assisting with the marketing of Redcliffe training courses and conferences
    • Initiating e-shots to contacts on databases
    • Verifying all bounces from e-shots and updating contact details on our databases
    • Processing bookings for courses and conferences from e-shots
  • Updating marketing materials
  • Obtaining visas for our trainers from various Embassies
  • Plus any other duties to assist the department

Required skills and personal attributes

  • Excellent use of all Microsoft Office applications (MS Publisher or other design programmes such as Photoshop will be useful)
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Must be extremely well organised
  • The ability to manage own workload, prioritise and work/keep to deadlines
  • Must have a good eye for detail
  • Must have a “can do” attitude
  • Must be accurate and diligent
  • Must be a quick learner
  • Must be enterprising
  • Must be hard working and proactive
  • Must be focussed on the client
